Northern CA trip

At the last minute, Bob was told he had to take a week-long trip to Northern California for work.  This was the 4th trip up there in as many weeks, but by far the longest.  We decided to try and make the most of it and come along with him so we drove up Saturday the 13th, stayed in Bakersfield for the night, and then drove the rest of the way to Fairfield on Sunday.  We then had 5 glorious days of wearing long sleeves and playing outside!  It was glorious.  I was lucky that my Mom decided to come with us at the last minute to help me with the kids.  I'm glad she did, because I wouldn't have been able to do it without her!  We took the kids to a bunch of fun places including the Jelly Belly factory, Six Flags, and a fun little park called Train Town.  It was a blast.  These pics are out of order, but there are some cute ones!

On the way up to Fairfield, we stopped in San Francisco and went to Pier 39.  The girls LOVED the sea lions!
